Dorothea Ackermann
Dorothea Ackermann (February 12, 1752 – October 21, 1821) was a German actress and the oldest daughter of Konrad Ackermann.
Born in Danzig (Gdańsk) in the Polish province of Royal Prussia,〔Daniel Stone,''A History of East Central Europe'', University of Washington Press, 2001, p. 30, ISBN 0-295-98093-1 (Google Books )〕 she entered the stage at the age of four in the role of ''Annabella'' in Lessing's ''Miss Sara Sampson''. Her other roles include ''Orsina'', ''Minna von Barnhelm'', and ''Marie'' in ''Götz von Berlichingen''. She left the stage in 1778 and married with a professor Unger in Altona.
